Half Friendship-SOLSC-11/31

Broken friendships:
You feel weight lift of your shoulders as they treat you normally. They act as though everything is great and it forces happiness. But they tear you down. When it really is their choice, you are not important.

New friendships:
You get a thrill every time you talk. They seem like the most interesting person because you learn about a whole new life. Excitement forms as two lives converge. But they dont know you.  They don’t know how to fix your problems. You aren’t a priority.

Re-made friendships:
They make you feel special. That someone who knows everything about you might want to become friends again. When there is no negative feelings toward each other, the friendship just faded. But now it’s back. These are my favorite. No matter how far you grow from eachother there will always be a connection, a friendship. It makes both people happy to have someone familiar.  But you both have new lives. Once again, you are no longer a priority.

Forever friendships:
They hold onto you. Emotions are deep and can be expressed without judgement. Conversation flows freely and it brings a constant happiness. There is no other person to run to with important news. Finally, you are a priority.

These are all things I experienced at our school dance. So many new, old, broken, and somewhere between. Each with different emotions. But overall, for today, good trumps bad. My world is almost at peace.
