It was bound to happen. Everyone around me was sick for the longest time. My friends, family, and even dance teacher are all sick. I felt the dreaded burning sensation in my throat and I could feel myself cross the line between okay and nauseous. My beloved pizza even going untouched as my stomach did not seem to want it. I never get sick enough to stay home from school; it’s always severe colds and throat aches. I have to tough up and make it through school miserably for what’s usually a couple weeks. I can go days without people even knowing I’m sick because no one can see my aches and pains. I’m sure this week will just get worse and worse as my immune system works to fight the sickness.
